What is Tutor Trac?

Tutor Trac is an external website (outside of lss.ucsc.edu) in which we schedule tutors' sessions and students sign up for them. You can sign into tutor trac to access the schedules of the tutor who is supporting your course. 


How do I access Tutor Trac? 

No need to create an account in Tutor Trac. All you need to do is use your Gold ID and Password to login.  cruzid-gold.gif

What is a "Center" once you are searching for Availabilities?

When you 'search for availabilities', you'll be prompted to put in one of the centers listed here: Individual Tutoring, MSI by LSS, Small Group Tutoring by LSS, and Writing Support by LSS. Tutor Trac organizes our services and programs by using the feature "centers". For example, if your course is supported by MSI, then you would select the "MSI by LSS" Center.

Where can I find instructions on how to use Tutor Trac?

Can I just find the session and join without signing up through Tutor Trac? 

Sign ups are required for our services (except for MSI by LSS) because tutors do not start preparing until they know students are going to be at their session. It's important that students sign up beforehand so that tutors are prepared for them! Once you sign up, you get access to the zoom link/location of the session. MSI is one of our programs that sign ups beforehand are not required, but you have the option too if you'd like to be proactive.
