Individual Tutoring

ind-tutoring-program-icon-realWhat is Individual Tutoring?

Individual Tutoring is an additional support program offered in some classes already supported by Modified Supplemental Instruction (MSI) or Small Group Tutoring (SGT). In Individual Tutoring, students receive personalized 1-1 support for problem-based questions or coding questions in their courses.

For Fall 2021, Individual Tutoring may be offered in-person or remotely, depending on the tutors' preferences and UCSC guidelines to ensure public health. For both in-person and remote formats, students must sign-up for a 20-min time slot within the 2-hr availability window before the start time of the time slot. During their reserved time slot, students will meet for one-on-one support with a tutor.

Students should check Tutor Trac, the Classes Supported page by clicking the button below, or ask their Learning Assistant/Tutor if they provide Individual Tutoring.

If you would like to sign up for these services, click the Tutor Trac button below (signing in with your Gold ID).
