Peer Success Coaching Program
Peer Success Coaching Gets You to Where You Want to Be.
Community Advocacy, Resiliency, Independence
What do we mean by this?
The coaching program connects interested students with peer coaches (read more about them below!). In those private, one-on-one meetings, students can reflect on their experience at UCSC, learn new study strategies, and get connected to resources and opportunities.
Coaching is a wonderful resource for students looking for more support than tutoring offers, making a plan to be the best student they can be, looking to connect with peers and make friends, or making the most of their time at UCSC.
How do I sign up to meet with a Peer Coach?
Sign up to meet with a Peer Success Coach on TutorHub.
When you sign-up, you commit to meet with your coach on a weekly basis for a 1-hour session that best fits your schedule.
After making an appointment, fill out our Peer Success Coaching form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe3uWD00_C89Z7v-OOADJpyN3wrLXEbJUyZsCYCMksXmLLlPA/viewform
Why should I fill out the Google form? Your coach can review your responses and be able to share resources with you! If you prefer to review the form with your peer coach, you are welcome to use your first meeting to fill out the form together.

Peer Coaches help students be successful by:
- building academic skills (e.g. time management, note-taking, etc)
- building help-seeking behaviors (e.g. navigate office hours and campus resources)
- helping students be self-regulated learners (e.g. learn strategies to manage test anxiety and imposter syndrome)
Who can have a Peer Coach?
Anyone can! Peer Coaches are helpful for any student who wants to be the best student they can be.
